Jeff Eberwein
Portfolio Manager
Jeff Eberwein has over 25 years of Wall Street experience, including roles as a Portfolio Manager at Soros Fund Management and Viking Global Investors. He is the Founder and CEO of Lone Star Value Management, an investment fund focused on long-term investing in deeply undervalued public securities, which was purchased by Star in 2019.
He currently serves as the CEO of Star Equity Holdings, Inc., a diversified holding company. Mr. Eberwein earned an MBA from The Wharton School and a BBA with High Honors from the University of Texas at Austin.
Shawn Miles
Director of Research
Shawn Miles is the Director of Research at Star Equity Fund, LP and Executive Vice President – Finance at Star Equity Holdings, Inc. He originally joined Lone Star Value Management in 2016, where he was responsible for securities analysis spanning a variety sectors and investment strategies, including deep value and shareholder advocacy. Mr. Miles holds a master’s in Behavioral Economics and a BS in Applied Economics & Management from Cornell University.
Hannah Bible
Chief Legal Officer
Hannah Bible is the Chief Legal Officer at Star Equity Fund, LP and Star Equity Holdings, Inc. Ms. Bible has over 20 years of combined legal and accounting experience across a variety of industries. She has served Star’s subsidiaries as in-house counsel and corporate secretary, CFO to Lone Star Value Management, LLC and Vice President, Finance to Star Construction Holdings, Inc. (f/k/a ATRM Holdings, Inc.). Ms. Bible earned an LLM in Tax from New York University School of Law, a JD with honors from St. Thomas University School of Law, and a BBA in Accounting from Middle Tennessee State University.

Jack Smith joined Star Equity Fund, LP in 2022 as a Research Analyst. Mr. Smith holds a BA in Economics and History Interdisciplinary and French from Vanderbilt University.
